From Beyond The Frontier
|Native Climate:||Temperate to Tropical|
Brillant engineers and ship builders from a watery world.
The Tromet are gifted engineers that hail from one of the most distant systems in the known universe. Their home world, Kardon, has 80% of its surface covered by oceans. Most of the landmasses are small, and the Tromet developed sea faring capabilities early on. Today the main cities are located under the surface of these oceans.
The Tromet were discovered about a decade before the last war. Their technology for space travel was many generations ahead of anything the other races had developed. Trade for this technology gave the Tromet influence with the other races, but also enabled the last war.
The Tromet’s blue skin allows them to blend into the water, which aided them in fishing and hunting. They have proven quite adaptable and adopted many customs from the other races. Their innate ability with engineering and this adaptability has allowed them to grow into the second most populace race in the Empire. Their influence is muted as the noble house that rules the Tromet’s systems has only existed since the treaty and is the youngest of all the races.
Their greatest achievement, in the eyes of the Empire, is the Imperial Dreadnaught. The most advanced and most powerful warship ever conceived. It pushes the limits of technology from all aspects of the Empire and is the pinnacle of engineering and technical excellence in the Empire. This has caused the Tromet’s star to rise within the Empire, and their influence continues to grow.
